A to Z definitions of the terms used in Bhet Online.
Approval mode
The rule that decides what happens after someone registers for a webinar: open, manual, cap or domain.
Attendee
A person who joins a session as a participant. Attendees are view-only by default, unless the host enables Open floor.
BhetBot
The assistant that posts scheduled reminders in a chat.
Breakout room
A small-group room a host can split people into during a session.
Call
Rings the person like a phone call: they get a full-screen ringing screen with Answer and Decline.
Certificate
A downloadable proof of attendance issued to webinar attendees.
Co-host
A role with the same live-room media and control powers as a host.
Event
Another name for a webinar: a public, registration-based session.
Green room
A host-only backstage area before going live, also called prep mode. Go Live unlocks 15 minutes before the scheduled start.
Guest
A person who joins with a link and needs no account.
Host
The person running a session, with full media, recording and control powers.
Meeting
A scheduled or instant session for your team and invited guests. Invite-only by default (or anyone with the link), booked into a room, can repeat, and counts toward your event and room limits.
Meet now
Starts an instant meeting and sends the person a notification, with no ringing. They join when they see it.
Moderator
A role that manages attendees, Q&A, polls and chat in a session.
Occurrence
One date within a recurring series.
Open floor
A host setting that lets non-host roles use mic and camera. Screen share stays host-tier only.
Presenter
A role that can present in sessions with screen share, slides and media, but cannot manage library content or administer the room.
Recording
A saved copy of a session, started by a host or co-host and shown with an indicator to everyone.
Connection
A link between two Bhet users, made by request and acceptance (or by email invitation if they are not on Bhet yet). Connections appear in Contacts, and chats and calls with them are private to the two of you, outside any workspace.
Recurring
A meeting or webinar that repeats daily, weekly or monthly as a series.
Registration
The sign-up step for a webinar, done on its landing page.
Reminder
A text message scheduled through BhetBot that notifies everyone in a chat, even if muted.
Room
A persistent virtual space that meetings, webinars and instant calls are booked into; rooms have seat limits from the plan.
Seat
One participant slot in a live room. Everyone in a session at the same time, guests included, takes a seat; your plan sets the maximum seats a room can have.
Waiting room
What joiners see when the meeting is locked; they wait until the host admits or denies them.
Webinar
A public, registration-based session with a landing page, registration form, approval modes, attendee capacity, certificates, a branding banner, follow-up emails and analytics. Also called an event.
White-label
Serving Bhet Online on your own domain with your branding.
Workspace
A team space with its own members, rooms, events and billing, available on Enterprise plans. Solo users do not have one; one person can belong to several.
Personal account
The private account every user has for their own meetings, rooms and chats. It is hidden until you belong to a workspace.
