Webinars and events
Public, registration-based sessions with a landing page, approvals, certificates and analytics.
What is a webinar
A webinar, also called an event, is a public, registration-based session. It has a landing page, a registration form, approval modes, attendee capacity, certificates, a branding banner, follow-up emails and analytics. It can also repeat, with registration per date.
Create one from Schedule by switching the toggle to Webinars.
Create and publish
- Open Schedule and select Webinars.
- Fill in title, description, date, time and room.
- Customize the landing page and banner.
- Set the registration form and approval mode.
- Publish to get the public registration link, and share it.
Registration
Visitors register on the landing page. Each registrant receives a confirmation email with a personal join link. Registrations are listed on the event page, where you can search, export and message registrants.
For repeating webinars, people register per date, so capacity and analytics are tracked for each occurrence.
Approval modes
Approval mode decides what happens after someone registers:
- Open: everyone is accepted automatically.
- Manual: you approve or reject each registrant.
- Cap: accepted automatically until the attendee capacity is reached.
- Domain: only email addresses from the domains you list are accepted.
Certificates
Enable certificates to issue an attendance certificate to people who attended, which is useful for training and education. Attendance is measured from join and leave records.
Follow-up and analytics
Send follow-up emails after the session, for example to attendees and no-shows separately. Analytics show registrations, attendance, engagement in polls and Q&A, and drop-off over time.
