Workspaces and team

Workspaces, inviting members, seats, switching between workspaces and white-label.

Workspaces

Workspaces are for teams. A workspace has its own members, rooms, events, recordings and billing, and is created on workspace-capable plans (Enterprise, or contact sales), each with its own plan and billing. Solo users do not have one: everyone has a private personal account that stays hidden until they join or create a workspace. One person can belong to several workspaces, and a Personal option appears in pickers only once it has content.

Invite members

  1. Open Settings, then Team.
  2. Enter an email address and choose a role.
  3. The invitee gets an email; accepting it adds them to the workspace.

Seats are counted per live room session, not per team member. See Plans and billing.

Switch workspaces

If you belong to more than one workspace, use the workspace switcher in the top-left to change. Meetings, rooms and billing shown are always those of the selected workspace. Notifications, chats and calls are the exception: they are one inbox across all your workspaces, tagged with a workspace chip, and you never need to switch just to read or answer.

Leave, transfer or delete

Any member can leave a workspace from Settings, Danger zone. The last owner cannot leave: transfer ownership to another member first (the previous owner becomes an admin).

Owners can delete a workspace by typing its exact name to confirm. Members lose access, the subscription is cancelled, and data is retained for audit. If the subscription cannot be cancelled, nothing is deleted, so you can try again.

White-label

White-label lets you serve the app and meeting links on your own domain with your branding. It is available on plans that include it. Contact us to set up the domain, which requires a DNS record and approval.
