Meetings
Schedule or start meetings for your team and invited guests, control who can join and repeat them.
What is a meeting
A meeting is a scheduled or instant session for your team and invited guests. It is invite-only by default, books a room, can repeat, and counts toward your event and room limits. Invitees join through their personal link and do not need an account.
If you need a public page with registration, use a webinar instead.
Schedule a meeting
- Open Schedule and select Meetings.
- Set title, date, time and duration.
- Choose the room it is booked into (see Rooms).
- Choose who can join (see Join access below) and add invitees.
- Save. Invitees receive an email with their personal link.
Invite people
Add invitees by email address. Each person gets a personal join link tied to their address, so you can see who attended. Workspace members are invited the same way and also see the meeting in their Schedule.
You can add more invitees at any time, including after the meeting starts. For a repeating meeting, decide whether new people join the whole series or only specific dates (see Series versus specific dates).
Join access
Each meeting has one of two access settings:
- Invite only (default): only people you invited can enter, using their personal link.
- Anyone with the link: the general meeting link works for everyone who has it. Share it only where you trust the audience.
For extra control, lock the meeting from inside and use the waiting room so the host admits each person.
Repeating meetings
Choose Repeat and pick daily, weekly or monthly. Each date is an occurrence of the same series. You can edit or cancel a single occurrence or the whole series.
Series versus specific dates
When you add an invitee to a repeating meeting you choose the scope:
- Whole series: they are invited to every occurrence, including future ones.
- Specific dates: they are invited only to the dates you tick.
Instant meetings
Start an instant meeting from your default room when you need a call now. Copy the link or add invitees while you are in it. From a contact, Meet now sends them a notification without ringing; use Call to ring them.
