What is a room #

A room is a persistent virtual space. Meetings, webinars and instant calls are booked into rooms. Rooms have seat limits set by your plan.

Room types #

• Default room: every workspace has one, used for instant meetings and calls.
• Custom rooms: create more for teams, classes or studios, each with its own link and settings.
• On-call rooms: rooms reserved for quick calls, such as support or a team that is always available.

The default room #

The default room is created with your workspace. When you start an instant meeting without picking a room, it uses the default room. Admins can rename it and change its settings, but it cannot be deleted.

Room settings #

• Green room: start sessions in host-only prep mode, or straight to live.
• Open floor by default: let non-host roles use mic and camera.
• Seat limit: the maximum number of people in the room at once. It cannot exceed the seats your plan allows.

A session can be overridden by the host at any time from inside the live room.
